My speech

The Song That Reminds Me About Peace!....

I picked this song for a reason, my reason is because it tells you the true meaning about peace. This world wasn't created for anger or problems, it was made to represent peace, and working together to create new things.

This song reminds me of peacefulness, people have friendly hearts that opens easily, It shows us how God wants us to be!. If you are a true friend you would never betray your friend or fight against each other, peace bring the community closer, Seeing people live on the street ain't a thing to laugh about, you should help him by supporting him and by giving gifts that brightens his day!.

If you are having a hard time at school or at home because of bullying or being picked by an adult, always remember when they grow up they would regret the ways they treated you when you were younger. Peace is what our hearts need, hearts aint for anger or jealousy its
for building a nation together

Thank you for reading my speech I hope you enjoyed it, please leave a comment!...

Freedom poem

Freedom to give
Freedom to live
Freedom to question why

Freedom to walk
Freedom to talk
Freedom to live or to die

Freedom to sing
Freedom to swing
Freedom to just walk on by

Freedom to speak
Freedom to seek
Freedom to laugh or to cry

thankyou you for reading my poem.

This is love

Do, do, do, do-do-do,
Do, do, do, do-do-do,
Do, do, do, do-do-do,

Today,
I'm laughing the clouds away,
I hear what the flowers say,
And drink every drop of rain,
And I see,
Places that I have been,
In ways that I've never seen,
My side of the grass is green,
Ooh I can't believe that it's so simple,
It feels so natural to me,

If this is love,
Then love is easy,

please read this amazing poem and have a great day.

Music room

Than you for watching my presentation about the new music room at my school.

The zoo trip

The zoo trip
The best trip ever was at the zoo, we got to see different sorts of animals and reptiles. The most strongest animal at the zoo was the Elephant, Elephants have sharp teeth can cut through meat faster than a sword. as we walked through we got to see a crocodile, crocodiles are cool because of their skin, its skin can be used as a shield. When it came to lunch time we eat lots of food, after we ate we went to the monkeys, sure lions and tigers. as we left the zoo into our bus we waited till we went to school and left to home.

Thankyou for reading my zoo trip story I hope you injoyed it.

The Magic Carpet

One day me and my friends Bob,James,Antonio, camps for an awesome adventure. packing my sleeping bag and clothes made my arms tired and sweaty, “it's really hot and i need fresh air” said me.
so I open the window, boom! a flying carpet shoots throw the window as fast as a bullet. But as I was running around the room trying to get the magical carpet of my face, my friends didn't help at all, all they did was laugh and loaded the car with our camping equipment. After 2 minutes I could finally control the magic flying carpet and ride him around the room.
My friends came inside to see if I was alright they even bring a broom to whack the daylights out of the flying carpet. I flew the carpet outside next to the car and hopped of it but it wouldn't go anywhere but follow me, I was wondering if I should keep him as my transporter, he could fly me around the world.

So I took the magic carpet to our camping site, it took 2 hours to get there, when we stopped at the petrol station, I would practice flying my transporter around the station.

We arrived at camp and watched all the cool things we could play on while we're there. We are going to stay there for 3 days. At night we would always eat our dinner and go for little rides around the camp, even the camp could come with us because there is nothing to do at night time!. On the last day we went to McDonald and and started our cool journey home.

As we drive home, everyone fell asleep, but not the driver. Me and my transporter were sleeping the whole way from McDonald to home. As we got home we unpacked, It was the best camp ever.

  • One of the language features in this poem is a _ Similes____. Here is an example of this language feature... You can touch someone’s life,
Just by what you say or do,
  • Another language feature in this poem is a __ Personification___ .Here is an example of this language feature... Then you will be blessed in so many ways,
From our Lord and Savior above.

3. Evaluate (which means reflect and give your opinion) the author’s purpose for writing this poem - in your answers include the words: inform, entertain, persuade.
Love is not hard to get because everyone has love. Words affect people Emotions, and actions affect others Lives. So Love others and make Today Fun.

  • The author was informing the audience about...Love,Emotion,Actions
  • The author was entertaining the audience by... (emotions/language features): Using strong words and telling the truth about how Love finds you.
  • The author is trying to persuade the audience to think/believe/reflect... I think the Author is trying tell us to not hate but Love. I think he believes that there is always a good Person in Us

You can touch someone’s life,
Just by what you say or do,
It’s nice to be able to do that,
And I’m going to do it too.
It might be by an act of kindness,
Or just by something we say,
It really doesn’t matter what it is,
Because it will sure make their day,
So try to touch someone’s life,
And show them your love,
Then you will be blessed in so many ways,
From our Lord and Savior above.

Will.I.Ams Donation

Faith,Taylor,Jayden, Mavis got the chance to experience another way of  learning with the Manaiakalani. A fantastic piece of news which came to us as "Someone donated some money to the Manaikalani education trust" Well we found out that someone was MrWill.I.Am
I hope you enjoy reading my awesome experience below
Please leave a comment!!!

Thursday 6 May 2013, was well... the best day of our life!!! I’m not being dramatic or anything but a group of students got the chance to see that Mr.William James Adams, otherwise known as Will.I.Am . He has donated $100,000 to the Manaiakalani Education Trust. We were told at first that it was an anonymous donater but when we arrived we got the news that it was Will.I.Am himself who had donated the money. It was something worth experiencing.

When the cheque was presented we were thankful and honored for his helpful donation towards the Manaiakalani Education Trust. His inspirational words motivated us all as students to keep moving forward in life.

The words that he preached today was "My mission is to help transform disadvantaged youths, and I hope my donation to the Manaiakalani Trust will help these young people gain the skills they need for tomorrow's job market."

We acknowledged that fact the he shared a small portion of his life with us about growing up with  only his mum to raise him and about the fact that music and arts literally saved his life. He told us that his dream was to look after his mother and siblings.

When he told us what his dream was we felt like we could do something with our life. Meeting or hearing him wasn’t just hearing or seeing him as a celebrity but we got to hear and see him as a person who motivated himself to succeed in life.

We came back to school feeling glad we got to be part of something worth remembering, we got to be part of something we could tell our friends with pride and experience.

Talofa lava my name is John I’m Samoan Maori. I’m tall like a giraffe with short hair and brown, hazel eyes. I am a friendly, kind and generous person who enjoys hanging out with my friends. My friends support me in learning and also with my problems. My best friend is Cameron. Cameron and I have been friends for over a year and he is a special mate of mine. I go to Tamaki Primary school. In 2012 I represented my school in the Eastern Zone touch tournament. I like to play rugby with my friends and family.

Our favourite things we like doing is bombing, and swimming. On hot sunny days my house goes super hot we open all the windows to let the cold air in. My brother Chris likes to play with the Dogs a lot Sometimes when I'm home he takes my bike and plays with his friends down the road.
